As we continue to upload our current files of resources to our Google Classrooms, I would be remissed if I did not point out that if we go into a Distance Learning situation in the fall, the largest challenge is the reduction in actual instruction. I would liken this to examining DNA in ancient dinosaurs that have missing nitrogen base pairs, and subsequently an incomplete genome. Thankfully, there are solutions to the missing instructions. One such solution is Khan Academy.
Your Google Classroom can be synchronized with Khan Academy. Once you register and choose from a menu of classes, you will have access to many resources. Of course this will not be the end all to our challenges of diminished instruction, but it will be of use. So take a little time to investigate Khan Academy for yourself, and maybe even register. In the meantime, I have many resources that I need to upload. Have a great Saturday!
